> 2026 Edition — an independent analysis of web software pricing
The Polish web application market in 2026 has three distinct price points: MVP at PLN 30,000 (median, n=24), a full application with integrations at PLN 200,000 (enterprise median, n=43), and a mid-complexity application at PLN 226,500 (mid median, n=7). Software houses dominate the market (58 observations vs. 10 interactive agencies), with a median of PLN 85,000 and an upper quartile of PLN 200,000. The hourly rate for Polish seniors is PLN 110–240/h (weighted median PLN 170/h, CenaUslug 2026, n=14 services). Poland retains a 2–3x price advantage over DE/UK at comparable quality — a recurring theme in the data.
These figures are market medians — you can calculate an indicative cost for your own scope in the calculator.
The report is based on 118 price observations from 92 entities. The sample includes: - 58 software houses (49% — the dominant segment for web applications) - 10 interactive agencies
Tiers defined uniformly: - prototype — clickable mockup, PoC, no-code prototype - simple — simple application, admin panel, 10–20 screens, one full-stack team - mvp — minimal product with core functionality (forms, authorization, basic integrations) - mid — mid-complexity application (panel + CRM/payment integrations, 30–60 screens) - full — full production application with backend, integrations, reporting - enterprise — multi-tenant SaaS, ERP/CRM integrations, compliance, audited projects - saas (separate segment) — ready-made subscription solutions, monthly costs
Each observation includes tier, price range (min/max/typical), region, vendor type, stack, and market position.
The identities of specific entities are anonymized (codes WEB-001..092); the full list of sources is available as a JSON dataset. Data was collected between March and May 2026.
Tier | P25 | P50 (median) | P75 | n | Sample quality |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Prototype / clickable mockup | PLN 8,500 | PLN 9,000 | PLN 9,500 | 2 | limited |
Simple application (panel/form) | PLN 12,000 | PLN 18,000 | PLN 27,000 | 3 | limited |
MVP — minimal product | PLN 22,500 | PLN 30,000 | PLN 50,000 | 24 | solid |
Mid-complexity | PLN 95,000 | PLN 226,500 | PLN 425,000 | 7 | adequate |
Full application | PLN 18,750 | PLN 70,000 | PLN 162,500 | 15 | solid |
Enterprise / multi-tenant | PLN 100,000 | PLN 200,000 | PLN 500,000 | 43 | solid |
Ready-made SaaS (PLN/mo) | PLN 440 | PLN 4,780 | PLN 36,000 | 12 | solid |
> The most solid samples: MVP (n=24) and enterprise (n=43). These two tiers are the key ones for the Polish market in 2026.
Surprising median distributions — the full median at PLN 70,000 is lower than the mid median at PLN 226,500. This results from a classification difference: "full" covers many software house projects labeled as "complete application" but with varying scopes; "mid" includes projects with emphasized integration requirements (CRM, payments, user roles, ERP). The "mid" classification requires a larger scope — hence the higher median despite the smaller sample.
In practice: the boundary between "full" and "mid" is fluid in market naming. For a prospective client it is better to use the enterprise median for projects requiring system integrations (PLN 200,000) than to try to calibrate against the "mid average."
Web applications are a software house market — they dominate both in number and in price.
Vendor type | n obs. | P25 | P50 (median) | P75 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Software house | 58 | PLN 31,250 | PLN 85,000 | PLN 200,000 |
Interactive agency | 10 | PLN 15,000 | PLN 52,500 | PLN 60,000 |
Freelancer | 2 | PLN 63,750 | PLN 80,000 | PLN 110,000 |
SaaS platform (subscription) | 1 | PLN 45,390 | PLN 60,780 | PLN 76,170 |
SaaS pricing (benchmark) | 7 | PLN 267 | PLN 740 | PLN 3,874 |
Software houses dominate (58% of the sample) — this makes sense, since web applications require systems engineering (architecture, DevOps, testing, integrations), not just frontend design. Interactive agencies (median PLN 52,500, 50% cheaper) operate in a simpler segment — admin panels, simple auction applications, online calculators.
Freelancer anomaly (n=2): median PLN 80,000. The reason: in web applications, "freelancer" usually means an experienced senior working solo on projects worth PLN 80,000–150,000 (BeFound as an example). This is a different segment from freelancing for websites (where the median is PLN 2,500).
From 92 observations we derived consistent benchmarks for the hourly rate on the Polish web application market in 2026:
Source | Rate | Comment |
|---|---|---|
CenaUslug (n=14 services) | PLN 170/h (avg) | From PLN 110 in Nowy Sącz to PLN 240 in Warsaw |
ARDURA staff augmentation | 80–180 EUR/day | Senior IT, PLN 50–115/h for 8h |
Lemon.io 2026 | $41.70–65/h | Senior PL, ~PLN 170–265/h |
Apps Value 2026 | $35–55/h | Senior Flutter PL, ~PLN 145–225/h |
Hauerpower benchmark | PLN 150–400/h | Polish software house market overall |
Tech-Studio, TheStory, Develos | PLN 150–300/h | Premium software house published rates |
Clutch global Eastern EU | $25–49/h | PL falls in this range |
2026 market consensus: PLN 170/h net is the weighted median for a senior Web/Backend developer in Poland. Warsaw: +10–15% (up to PLN 240/h). EU/US clients: 75–95 EUR/h, ~PLN 320–405/h.
Converted to hourly (160h/month): PLN 130–220/h net — consistent with CenaUslug's PLN 170/h.
Position | n obs. | P25 | P50 | P75 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Budget | 5 | PLN 8,000 | PLN 10,000 | PLN 16,000 |
Mid-market | 41 | PLN 15,000 | PLN 30,000 | PLN 60,000 |
Premium | 57 | PLN 85,000 | PLN 140,000 | PLN 500,000 |
Premium dominates (57 observations) — web applications are, by nature, a segment for larger deployments. The premium median of PLN 140,000 reflects a typical full application with integrations. Mid-market (median PLN 30,000) — the MVP segment. Budget (median PLN 10,000) — the segment of simple, single-function applications.
Web applications compete with ready-made SaaS solutions. From our data we derive a consistent pricing benchmark for ready-made SaaS products:
SaaS product | Price PLN/mo | Full functionality |
|---|---|---|
SalesWizard CRM | 29–290 | Mid-market Polish CRM |
Bitrix24 Basic | 249 | 5 users |
Bitrix24 Pro | 1,999 | 250 users |
Firmao CRM/ERP | from 99 | Polish SME market |
Salesforce Essentials | $25/user/mo (~PLN 110) | Global entry level |
Salesforce Enterprise | $200/user/mo (~PLN 880) | Full |
HubSpot Grow | EUR 60/mo (~PLN 260) | Marketing automation |
HubSpot Pro | EUR 480/mo + 90/additional standard user (~PLN 2,000+) | Mid-size teams |
HubSpot Enterprise | EUR 1,104/mo + 110/additional user (~PLN 4,600+) | Enterprises |
Decision point: if a ready-made SaaS solves 80% of the problem for 10% of the annual cost — custom development has no economic justification. Custom CRM median PLN 27,000 (CenaUslug) + PLN 5,000–15,000/year maintenance. HubSpot Pro = PLN 24,000/year — comparable, but with development power and an ecosystem.
Custom CRM/web app is justified when: 1. Specific business processes aren't covered by ready-made solutions. 2. Integration with Polish systems (Comarch, Subiekt) is difficult in global SaaS products. 3. Compliance / GDPR / data sovereignty requires your own infrastructure. 4. Annual SaaS TCO > PLN 30,000 (i.e., >PLN 2,500/month) with a long operational horizon.
(1) MVP consistently at PLN 30,000. Median PLN 30,000, P75 PLN 50,000 — the most solid price point in the entire report. All Polish software houses publishing price lists (Tech-Studio, TheStory, Develos, TwojSoftware, ITLight, Hauerpower, BeFound) consistently price MVPs in the PLN 20,000–50,000 range. This is a real benchmark for startups.
(2) Enterprise median PLN 200,000 — Poland still competitive. For comparison, a similar project in DE/UK costs PLN 400,000–800,000. Poland in 2026 maintains a two-fold price advantage.
(3) The widely cited Cyrek Digital benchmark. The median reported by Cyrek Digital (PLN 100,000–600,000 for a web application with integrations) is consistent with our data (mid median PLN 226,500, P75 PLN 425,000).
(4) No-code disrupting MVP. HaveNoCode benchmark: web+mobile MVP at PLN 60,000 in 6 weeks — vs. software houses at PLN 150,000–200,000 in 10–14 weeks. For projects under PLN 50,000, no-code is real competition.
(5) Top Polish SaaS software houses 2026: Selleo (ISO 27001/22301, DefinedCareers 2 million users), Netguru (median $50–99/h on Clutch), STX Next (Python/Django specialty), 10Clouds (fintech/blockchain), The Software House. All operate in the enterprise market (PLN 200,000+ projects).
(6) The Polish market has 500k+ active developers (ARDURA). Poland remains the default EU nearshore destination. The scale of expertise and market depth is far greater than in 2020.
(7) Senior rates are growing +5.27% YoY (Just Join IT 2026 vs. 2025). Architect: PLN 20,200/month on average. Impact on application prices 2026 vs. 2025: ~+5–8%.
(8) Budget buffer of +25%. All Polish software houses publishing pricing methodologies (DV calculator, NETY.pl, BeFound) recommend a 20–25% buffer — this is an industry standard, not excessive caution.
(9) Delivery time correlates with the median: - MVP PLN 30,000: 8–12 weeks - Mid PLN 226,500: 16–24 weeks
Transparent positioning section. DV data is not included in the market median.
DV publishes an open web application pricing calculator with three main tiers:
DV tier | DV price | Market median | DV position |
|---|---|---|---|
MVP (PLN 15,000–45,000) | PLN 30,000 median | PLN 30,000 (P50 mvp) | Exactly at the market median ✓ |
Complete SaaS product (PLN 80,000–200,000) | PLN 140,000 median | PLN 200,000 (P50 enterprise) | Between P25 (PLN 100,000) and P50 (PLN 200,000) — below the enterprise median |
Enterprise (PLN 200,000+) | PLN 250,000 median | PLN 500,000 (P75 enterprise) | Below P75 enterprise — DV positions itself as enterprise-light |
DV's MVP median (PLN 30,000) sits exactly on the 2026 market median (n=24). DV should not lower its price — it holds a strong mid-market position. Room for growth: the upper bound of PLN 45,000 could realistically reach PLN 50,000 for an MVP with a larger scope (median P75 = PLN 50,000).
DV's median (PLN 140,000) vs. the full-application market (P50 enterprise = PLN 200,000, P50 mid = PLN 226,000). DV sits below the enterprise P50 — with potential to raise the average to PLN 180,000–220,000 for projects with full SaaS scope (multi-tenant, authorization, integrations, billing).
DV's starting price of PLN 200,000 ≅ P50 enterprise (PLN 200,000) — a deliberately conservative position within the premium segment. This lets DV compete on price with top Polish software houses (Netguru, STX Next, Selleo, 10Clouds, Brainhub, Miquido) in the PLN 200,000–500,000 project segment, while preserving margin.
DV positions itself deliberately moderately within the premium segment. This allows it to: 1. Compete on price with top Polish software houses for Polish projects 2. Preserve margin in the EU market at a higher rate (75–95 EUR/h) 3. Remain accessible to mid-size Polish companies (P50 of the premium market = PLN 140,000 — DV typically PLN 140,000–200,000 for a comparable scope)
Sample: 92 entities. Stratification: - 58 software houses (49%) - 10 interactive agencies
Time window: March–May 2026.
Exclusions: - Offers without a specific price range were excluded from the statistics (retained in the dataset as strategic context). - Hourly rates (PLN 170/h, etc.) reported separately — not extrapolated to projects.
Currency conversion: Q2 2026 average rate (1 USD = 4.00 PLN, 1 EUR = 4.30 PLN).
Limitations: - "prototype" tier — 2 observations, limited. - "simple" tier — 3 observations, limited. - "mid" tier — 7 observations, adequate (above the minimum of 5 for reporting a median). - The next edition plans to expand the MVP and SaaS segments with new measurements.
Anomaly: the "full" tier contains a maximum value of PLN 4,000,000 (a single corporate deployment) — this strongly distorts the arithmetic mean. That's why the report uses medians.
