> 2026 Edition — an independent analysis of iOS and Android pricing
The Polish mobile app market in 2026 clusters around four median price points: a simple app at PLN 20,000, a cross-platform MVP at PLN 40,000, a mid-size app at PLN 100,000, enterprise/marketplace at PLN 225,000. Native (Swift/Kotlin) has a median of PLN 100,000 — twice as high as cross-platform (PLN 40,000 for Flutter/RN). Software houses dominate completely (55 of 60 entities = 92%); interactive agencies exist mainly in the hybrid segment (median PLN 10,000). Senior PL Flutter developer rate 2026: PLN 12,000–18,000/month net (~PLN 145–225/h), which is 65–70% cheaper than the US ($120–200/h) at comparable quality.
The report is based on 116 price observations from 60 entities. This dataset is dominated by software houses (55 observations = 92%), which reflects the nature of the mobile market: native development requires specialized teams (iOS Swift + Android Kotlin), so interactive agencies rarely take on such projects on their own.
The sample covers all major Polish mobile hubs: Kraków (Miquido, Pragmatic Coders), Warsaw (10Clouds, LeanCode, JCD, SolveIT), Wrocław (Droids On Roids, ITLight, Squares, SkullMedia), Poznań (Apptension, Holdapp, Merixstudio, ITgenerator), the Tricity (IT Solve, Sopchy), Lublin/Łódź.
Tiers defined: - simple — 1 platform, up to 15 screens, minimal MVP - mvp — cross-platform (Flutter/RN), full MVP for testing an idea - mid — mid-size business application, 30–50 screens, basic integrations - enterprise — large-scale marketplace, fintech, healthcare; native or multi-platform - design — separate tier: application UI/UX design (no code)
Stack: native (Swift/Kotlin), cross_platform (Flutter), react_native, flutter_rn (mixed).
The identities of specific entities are anonymized (codes MOB-001..060); the full list of sources is available as a JSON dataset. Data was collected between March and May 2026.
Tier | P25 | P50 (median) | P75 | n | Sample quality |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Simple (1 platform, ≤15 screens) | PLN 12,300 | PLN 20,000 | PLN 30,000 | 14 | solid |
Cross-platform MVP (Flutter/RN) | PLN 35,000 | PLN 40,000 | PLN 50,000 | 26 | solid |
Mid-size business | PLN 43,750 | PLN 100,000 | PLN 185,000 | 14 | solid |
Enterprise / marketplace / fintech | PLN 100,000 | PLN 225,000 | PLN 350,000 | 29 | solid |
UI/UX design project (no code) | PLN 643 | PLN 745 | PLN 847 | 1 | limited |
> Exceptionally good sample: enterprise n=29, MVP n=26, mid n=14, simple n=14. The four main tiers are solidly sampled — the best sample quality of the four reports in this cycle.
Technology choice determines 50–70% of the project cost.
Stack | n obs. | P25 | P50 (median) | P75 | Characteristics |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Flutter | 13 | PLN 15,000 | PLN 40,000 | PLN 100,000 | Cross-platform, Google, single codebase |
React Native | 18 | PLN 25,000 | PLN 40,000 | PLN 50,000 | Cross-platform, Meta, React stack |
Native (Swift/Kotlin) | 14 | PLN 50,000 | PLN 100,000 | PLN 325,000 | Each platform built separately, max performance |
Flutter + RN (mixed) | 3 | PLN 36,250 | PLN 60,000 | PLN 95,000 | Hybrid stacks |
Other cross-platform | 3 | PLN 45,000 | PLN 100,000 | PLN 150,000 | KMM, Xamarin, Ionic |
Native vs cross-platform: a 2.5x difference in median. Native (PLN 100,000) requires two teams (iOS Swift + Android Kotlin); cross-platform (PLN 40,000) has a single codebase. For business applications without AAA graphics/performance requirements — cross-platform is the 2026 standard.
Flutter and RN are almost identical in price. Flutter median = PLN 40,000, React Native median = PLN 40,000. The choice of technology is now a matter of team preference and the client's ecosystem, not cost.
Native has the widest dispersion. P25 = PLN 50,000, P75 = PLN 325,000 — a wide range because native is used both by small Swift/Kotlin shops (low end) and Polish premium fintechs/healthcare providers (Ready4S, LeanCode for Warta, KISS digital, S-PRO).
Mobile is a software house market — 92% of the sample.
Vendor type | n obs. | P25 | P50 | P75 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Software house | 55 | PLN 30,000 | PLN 50,000 | PLN 150,000 |
Interactive agency | 4 | PLN 7,000 | PLN 10,000 | PLN 15,000 |
Software houses median PLN 50,000. Interactive agencies median PLN 10,000 — 5x cheaper, but they typically handle hybrid / WebView-based apps / simple utility apps. These are two different markets.

Gdańsk | PLN 80,000 |
Poznań | PLN 82,000 |
Kraków | PLN 88,000 |
Wrocław | PLN 90,000 |
Warsaw | PLN 95,000 (+10–15% vs. the rest of Poland) |
Warsaw is consistently 10–15% more expensive than the regions. Lublin is the cheapest. The Tricity/Kraków/Poznań/Wrocław are comparable (PLN 80,000–90,000).
Seven factors with an impact of ≥ 50%:
Rule of thumb: 10–20% of annual development cost (TwojSoftware, Squares consistently).
Specific SLA packages from Polish software houses: - ITLight maintenance: PLN 399–1,999/month (for MVP-mid apps) - Poldevs RN: PLN 120–170/h retainer - Polish standard: PLN 1,500–5,000/month for a mid-size app
For a PLN 100,000 deployment: - Annual maintenance: 10–20% = PLN 10,000–20,000/year = PLN 833–1,667/month - 5-year TCO: PLN 100,000 deployment + PLN 75,000 maintenance = ~PLN 175,000 - Plus an annual Apple/Google update (PLN 1,000–3,000) + new store version (PLN 500–1,000)
(1) Cross-platform MVP at PLN 40,000 — the most solid market benchmark for 2026. Median from 26 observations, P25=PLN 35,000, P75=PLN 50,000. For startups this is a realistic budget for testing an idea over 2–4 months.
(2) Enterprise median PLN 225,000 — still 2–3x cheaper than the US. Ardura's global benchmark: enterprise mobile $400k–$2M+ USD (~PLN 1.6–8 million). The Polish market operates at PLN 100,000–500,000 for comparable projects (medtech, fintech, marketplace).
(3) Top Polish mobile software houses 2026 (based on an analysis of 60 entities): - Miquido (Kraków, 14+ years, 250+ products, clients Dolby/Abbey Road/Warner; Flutter+RN+AI) - 10Clouds (Warsaw, fintech/medtech/blockchain, RN+AI; $25k+ projects) - Apptension (Poznań, $25–49/h, clients Google/Philips/Juilliard/TEDx; founded 2012) - Droids On Roids (Wrocław, 130+ global clients, 5.0 on Clutch, clients Walt Disney/NCC/SafeSize/Giphy; native+Flutter+RN, TAP methodology) - LeanCode (Warsaw, Flutter since 2016, 70+ apps) - Nomtek (Wrocław, 250+ apps since 2009, mobile+AR/VR) - Holdapp (Poznań, Swift/Kotlin/Flutter/KMM/Node.js backend) - Ready4S (FinTech/health/medical/education, since 2012) - Untitled Kingdom (digital health specialist) - TSH + TeaCode (Wrocław/Warsaw, premium RN $50-99/h)
(4) Rate anomaly — top Polish software houses at $25–49/h on Clutch: - Apptension (Poznań): clients Google/Philips/Juilliard - Crafton (Poznań, e-commerce, same pattern): clients LOT/Żabka/Tauron - Despite their documented scale, they maintain a price position below the global premium tier
(5) Poland is 2–3x cheaper than DE/UK at comparable quality — all Polish sources are consistent on this. Polish mobile dev 2026 averages $52,000 USD/year (Qubit-labs); Polish Clutch rates $25–99/h vs. US $100–200/h.
(6) Hybrid is 50–70% cheaper than native (SEO-WWW, ITCraft). For business applications without native requirements — hybrid/PWA is a real alternative.
(7) Cross-platform is the 2026 standard: Flutter > React Native > Native for new business projects. Native retains value for AAA games, AR/VR, performance-critical apps.
(8) Senior Flutter PL rates grew +8% YoY (2025 vs 2024). ITLight benchmark: PLN 11,000–17,000/month in 2024, PLN 12,000–18,000/month in 2026.
(9) MVP industry standard: PLN 15,000–30,000 to test an idea instead of PLN 100,000+ for a full app (TwojSoftware: 70% of startups pivot after MVP feedback).
(10) Inkubator WINS 2026 calculator: specialist rates PLN 100–600/h (extreme range — junior to senior+); no-code MVP <PLN 10,000; freelancer MVP PLN 20,000–50,000; software house MVP PLN 100,000+. Placing Polish software houses in the "PLN 100,000+" segment confirms their premium position.
Transparent positioning section. DV data is not included in the market median.
DV does not currently offer native mobile applications. Mobile apps (iOS/Android native, Flutter, React Native) are outside the current offering. This section exists as an authoritative market analysis, not as a benchmark of DV's price list.
If DV were to expand its offering to include mobile apps, three possible positioning strategies:
DV strategy | Hypothetical price | Market median | Conclusion |
|---|---|---|---|
Cross-platform MVP | PLN 30,000–50,000 | PLN 40,000 (P50) | Lands on the 2026 market average |
Mid-size business | PLN 80,000–150,000 | PLN 100,000 (P50) | Real competition |
Enterprise | PLN 250,000+ | PLN 225,000 (P50) | Premium segment |
For DV, entering the native app market is not economically justified — it would require costly rebuilding of competencies (iOS Swift + Android Kotlin, or a Flutter team). Three alternative scenarios worth considering:
Conclusion: mobile apps are an area where DV is a potential agency reseller, not an agency producer. The value of this report for DV: positioning as an industry authority, pre-sales lead nurturing, crossover with web (PWA, hybrid extension). This should not be treated as an offering to develop for 2026.
Sample: 60 entities (n=116 observations), including: - 55 software houses (92% of the sample) — reflects the nature of the mobile market - 4 interactive agencies (hybrid segment) - 12 market-benchmark publishers (Ardura, c-metric, Apps Value, Devtechnosys, MTechZilla, TekRevol, RSMobile, GSD.pl, ITCraft, RankingPRO, qubit-labs, Innowise) - 1 SaaS platform (CenaUslug)
Regional stratification: - Central (Warsaw): 8 - Western (Wrocław/Poznań): 22 - Southern (Kraków/Lublin/Łódź): 7 - Northern (Tricity): 5 - No location data: 18
Exclusions: - Offers without a specific price range were excluded from the statistics (31 observations in the "unknown" tier — mostly rate, regional, or strategic benchmarks; retained in the dataset as context, reported separately).
Currency conversion: Q2 2026 average rate (1 USD = 4.00 PLN, 1 EUR = 4.30 PLN).
Limitations: - "design" tier — 1 observation; reported for information only. - The next edition plans to expand the native iOS/Android segment with new measurements.
Anomaly: the "enterprise" tier contains a maximum value of PLN 2,000,000 (a single corporate deployment) — this strongly distorts the arithmetic mean. That's why the report uses medians.
