This page explains how to delete the data Digital Vantage processes in connection with your contact with us — including data received through Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. The data controller is Digital Vantage, Andriollego 34, Otwock, Poland. The full rules are set out in our Privacy Policy.
1. What data we may hold
- Messages you sent us through Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp and our replies, together with what Meta passes to us: your ID on that service and your profile name (on WhatsApp, your phone number).
- Conversations from the chat on digitalvantage.pl.
- Contact details and contact history in our contact records (CRM), if they were added there.
Messages are stored in our customer-service inbox (Chatwoot), running on a server we manage ourselves.
2. How to request deletion
Use either option — you do not need to give a reason:
- Write to us through the contact form or the email address on our Contact page, marked “Data deletion”. Tell us the channel you used (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, website chat, email) and your profile name or phone number, so we can find your data.
- Write “Delete my data” in the same Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp conversation.
3. What we will do
- Confirm that we received the request.
- Within one month at the latest (Article 12(3) GDPR), delete the conversations and contact data from the customer-service inbox, and the contact details, history and notes from our contact records.
- If your email address was in our records, keep only its irreversible hash — it prevents your data from being added again by mistake and cannot be turned back into the address.
- Delete data we are required by law to keep (e.g. accounting documents) once the required period ends.
- Confirm the deletion through the same channel.
Deleting your data with us does not remove the conversation from your own Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp inbox — you manage that data in your account settings on that service. If you use Facebook Login on our website, you can remove our access in Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
For questions about your data, use the contact form or the email address on our Contact page. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).
